Soil improvement was carried out with pre-loading for 3 tanks on an area of about 13 000m2 in Ploce Port according to our foundation calculations (soft soil up to 40m). Measured settlement values during the pre-loading process compared to the calculated ones in the numerical model were around 10-20%. Measured settlement time (conslodation period) compared to the calculated was around 20%.
